For persons who have previously been approved by the Kennel Club to award CC's in the breed and have completed their first appointment. To have the support of The Whippet Club of Wales..
For persons who fulfil all requirements of the A3 list and who have been assessed in accordance with Kennel Club requirements and accepted by the Kennel Club for inclusion on an A2 list and have the support of The Whippet Club of Wales.
A3 LIST - BREED SPECIALIST
Minimum of 7 years judging experience in the breed and have the support of The Whippet Club of Wales.
To have bred and/or owned a minimum of 3 dogs when they obtained their 1st. entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances).
To have judged a minimum of 180 dogs (present), not less than 70 classes of Whippets at Open or Limited show level and should include 2 Breed Club appointments.
To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the relevant examination on Kennel Club Regulations and Judging Procedures.
To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited trainer on Conformation and Movement, Hands on as Kennel Club Policy.
To have attended at least one breed specific seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed an examination and/or assessment where applicable.
To have stewarded over a minimum of 12 days at shows.
A3 LIST - NON BREED SPECIALIST
Minimum of 7 years judging experience in any one breed (to include 5 years in this breed) and have the support of The whippet Club of Wales.
To have judged 250 dogs in this breed.
Minimum of 100 classes of Whippets with 2 Breed Club appointments, exception would be those who already award CC's in at least one other Hound Breed who have the depth of experience in other breeds which is at least equal to our minimum requirements.
To have awarded CC's in aat least one other breed.
To comply with the Kennel Club requirements as set out for A3 List Breed Specialists.
B - LIST BREED SPECIALIST AND NON BREED SPECIALIST
For persons who will be supported by The Whippet Club of Wales to judge at Breed Club, General Canine Society Show or Championship Show level without CC's in the breed.
Specialist applicants should have a minimum of 5 years owning and exhibiting the breed and have bred and/or owned at least 2 dogs when they obtained their 1st. entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances).
Non Specialists should have done at least the same in another breed.
To have judged at least 30 classes of Whippets.
To have been seen judging Whippets at Open or Limited Show level by a member of the Committee or a person appointed by the Committee.
C LIST - BREED SPECIALIST AND NON BREED SPECIALIST
For aspirant judges who have shown an interest in the breed and have the support of The Whippet Club of Wales.
